Welcome to the Support Rendcomb Campaign FAQ section. These pages are designed to answer questions you may have regarding the Support Rendcomb Campaign at Rendcomb College, and your order.

What is Support Rendcomb Campaign?

Rendcomb College is currently raising money for the The Griffin Centre at Rendcomb College and to thank our donors you can have a personally engraved brick in the Griffin Centre

Rendcomb College has engaged the services of Briconomics Ltd. to execute and fulfil the personalised products in the Griffin Centre

Your donation is taken by Briconomics Ltd on behalf of Rendcomb College. Briconomics will show on your bank statement. 

Ownership of stones laid within Rendcomb College  development will remain with Briconomics Ltd. and transfer to Rendcomb College  upon delivery and as such Rendcomb College  shall determine the specific location of each and every brick, undertake the installation and maintenance of the product(s) thereafter.

Why is it being created?

The Griffin Centre at Rendcomb College is the first major building project to take place on campus for 27 years. Featuring a 350-seat auditorium, mirrored dance studio and drama classroom, the space is a positive and professional addition to the school’s facilities. Next on the development list are the sports facilities. Our goal is to continue to enhance our facilities and to broaden access to a Rendcomb College education and all developments and campaigns significantly enhance the teaching and learning environment at Rendcomb College, to the lasting and direct benefit of pupils throughout their time here. 

Who can buy?

Support Rendcomb Campaign is open to all. We welcome support for the project be it local or from around the world.

What can I buy?

You can choose from a superb quality double buff paver with black lettering as well as metal auditorium, seat plaques or stair risers.  Please see www.supportrendcomb.org.uk for full details and suggested donations.

How much can I say in my message?

Each line can have up to a maximum of 16 characters including spaces and punctuation on the double paver. Each line can have up to a maximum of 20 characters including spaces and punctuation on the auditorium and seat plaques and up to a maximum of 30 characters on the stair risers. You can use upper and lower case letters.

Are the letters painted on top?

No, the letters are actually engraved into the stone and the text is photo bonded on the plaques and stair risers to make the lettering more hardwearing.

What can I have engraved on my stone or plaque?

We would like the message to include your name and year at the school or house

Examples of what you might say:

Can I change my message after I have placed my order?

You will be sent an E-mail with an E Certificate to check your inscription. If it is incorrect or you would like to make any changes there will be instruction in the email of how to do so, you can change this as many times as you like until you confirm order inscription or up to ten days after you have placed your order after which time no further amendments are allowed.

When are they being installed?

The first items will be placed in Support Rendcomb Campaign in 2017 and then periodically thereafter, this allows time to sell more items and then place them at the same time.

How long will the Plaque last?

The Bricks will last indefinitely. The manufacturer will provide a 10 year guarantee on the brick and 3 years on the lettering.

How many items can I order?

As many as you like online

How do I make my donation?

Online: With credit/debit card - VISA, MASTERCARD, DELTA, MAESTRO, SWITCH

Can I choose my location?

No, the items will be installed on a first come first installed basis as the Support Rendcomb Campaign progresses. Each item will be installed in the next available spot.

What is on the E-certificate?

The E-certificate includes the inscription on the brick and the bricks’ unique reference number. The E-certificate does not include the purchaser's name. Please note: you will not be able to change your inscription after the ten day cooling off period. 

Only your chosen inscription will show on the E-certificate, if you have chosen a product with the school crest this will not be on the E-certificate but will be engraved into the stone.

You can log back into your account at any time to request your E-certificate be resent.

In all instances, please be ready to supply relevant information which Briconomics Ltd. will require from you in order to identify your order - Purchasers name, order reference or brick reference (from your certificate) and date of purchase, without this information we may be unable to trace your order.  We aim to respond to all emails within 72 hours (normal office hours only)
